Alton, Iowa — A Granville woman was airlifted to a Sioux City Hospital in the aftermath of a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the mishap occurred shortly after 3:00 Friday afternoon, when a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville, driven by 43-year-old Michelle Vant Hof of Granville, was eastbound on Highway 10, one mile east of Alton.
