Sioux County, Iowa —  Another scam is afoot in northwest Iowa, this time aimed at people using Apple products.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, scammers claiming to be from Apple Support are calling people and telling them that their account has been breached. They then ask you to give them your personal information. The calls are reportedly shown as coming from northwest Iowa phone numbers.

Sioux County authorities advise you to not respond to requests for any personal information and disconnect the call. This is a scam.

If you are unsure whether the call is a scam or legitimate, deputies urge you to disconnect the call and contact Apple Support yourself, Official Apple Support can be found at: https://support.apple.com/contact or by calling their U.S. support phone number: 1-800-275-2773.
