Hull, Iowa — The Bargain Alley in Hull, a thrift store operated by Western Christian High School, is celebrating their 1st anniversary in business.

Wes Fopma is Director of Development and Promotions at Western Christian, and he tells us how the Bargain Alley came to be.

Fopma says a group of volunteers transformed the building from an old bowling alley into a thrift store.

He says the large building is packed full of merchandise.

Fopma says the Bargain Alley has been a blessing, not only to Western Christian High School, but also to the community of Hull.

He says the funds generated by Bargain Alley help support Western Christian.

The Bargain Alley in Hull is open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm, Fridays 9 to 4, and Saturdays 9 to 2.
