Hull, Iowa — It’s almost time to start the 2019 Iowa Legislative session. Lawmakers have been talking to each other and their constituents to try to figure out what changes need to be made at the state level. One of this area’s lawmakers is Iowa District 2 State Senator Randy Feenstra.

We had a chance to visit with Feenstra recently and he told us what’s going to be important when the legislature convenes next week.

He says some of his constituents have approached him and issues that they are concerned about will also be important this time around.

Feenstra says he’s grateful for the opportunity to serve.

The 2019 session of the Iowa Legislature begins Monday, January 14th at the Statehouse in Des Moines.
