Orange City, Iowa — Alex Nonhof of Orange City, has signed a letter of intent to continue his running career at Northwestern College next fall.

Nonhof recently completed his fourth season running for the Unity Christian High School cross country team. A two-time state qualifier, Nonhof earned all-conference honors during both his junior and senior years. He also qualified for the senior all-star meet and has a personal best 5K of 17:29. Nonhof is an honor roll student and plans to major in education at Northwestern. He is the son of Chris and Amy.

“Alex is a hard worker and enjoys running” stated Northwestern cross country coach Scott Bahrke. “Alex is just starting to reach his potential as a distance runner and we are excited to see what God has in store for him over the next four years.”
