Boyden, Iowa — Two Hull teens were transported to the hospital after an accident on Highway 18 near Boyden on Wednesday morning (1/16/13).
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 8:45 AM, 19-year-old Kaleb Vis of Hull was driving a 2004 Ford F‐150 pickup eastbound on Highway 18, a mile west of Boyden.
Vis began passing an eastbound vehicle when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch and overturned.
Vis and a passenger, 18-year-old Louis Castillo of Hull were both transported to the Sioux Center Hospital by the Boyden Ambulance.
The Ford sustained about $14,000 in damages.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Boyden Fire Department and the Boyden Ambulance.
