MOC FloydValley swept a Siouxland Conference basketball doubleheader from the Orabs in Sheldon Tuesday night. The boy’s game went to the top ranked Dutch 59-23. The girl’s game went to the third ranked Lady Dutch 66-20.
In the girls game MOC Floyd Valley led 37-7 on the way to their 19th win. Alexis Conaway led all scorers with 15. Sheldon was led by Krista Bousema with 5 points.
With the win the Lady Dutch ranked number 3 in the 3A poll are 16-0 in the conference and 19-0 for the season.
In the boys game the Dutch held a 42-12 halftime lead on route to their 18th win of the season. Daniel Jansen and Justin Van Kalsbeek shared game high honors with 14 points each. Sheldon had one player in double figures as Trevor Johnson knocked down a trio of three-pointers as part of an 11 point night.
With the win MOC Floyd Valley the top ranked team in 3A in the latest Radio Iowa Poll remains unbeaten on the year at 18-0 and 15-0 in the Siouxland.



A Rock Valley man was injured in an accident on Friday near Rock Valley.
