Did Santa leave an e-reader under your tree? An alternative to the book seller’s sites is to go online through the library and check books out to your e-reader. Our online source for downloadable audio books is adding e-books to their collection. Go to our home page and scroll down until you see WILBOR. You can search the database or select login, and find Orange City Public Library from Libraries O-V. Enter your library patron number (ex. P0000). Search and download onto your e-reader. Explore and enjoy this new medium we are happy to provide for you!

Gary and Barb Rosberg, radio hosts, marriage conference speakers and award-winning authors, will address the topic of relationships in Northwestern College’s chapel service on Monday, Jan. 17, at 10:05 a.m. and again that evening at 7 in Christ Chapel. The sessions, parts one and two of “Tackling the DTR (Define the Relationship talk),” are free and open to the public.

It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play – which was presented in the
Orange City town hall earlier this month – will be on KIWA Radio
Friday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. That’s 1550 AM.
It’s a fantastic show, featuring locals Patrick Giannantonio, Linda
Dykstra, Lois Estell, Kailen Philo-Fleck and Nick Rohlf, with Andy
Keller on piano. Director is Cody Bauer. The SchoolHouse Company
presented the show, with assistance from the Orange City Arts Council.
Local businesses sponsored the airing of the show on KIWA Radio.

On Sunday, December 26, at 2:32 a.m., a Sioux County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to stop a 1999 Ford‐150 pickup in Orange City, IA. The driver attempted to evade the deputy by shutting off his headlights and traveling at a high rate of speed. Read The Full Story…
